Sayulita wasn’t always the vibrant beach town it is today. Back in 1991, it was a small fishing village tucked away on Mexico’s Pacific coast, raw, beautiful, and almost untouched. That’s also when Avalos Realty was born.
We were the first real estate agency in Sayulita. It all started with something simple: a deep love for nature, the beach, and this incredible place. At the time, there were no big developments or tourism. Just ocean waves, palm trees, and a dream to help others find the same peace and connection we felt here.
It Was Never Just Business
For us, real estate has never been just about buying and selling houses. Instead, it’s about finding the right spot, that perfect little corner where someone can slow down, breathe deeper, and feel at home. Every client we’ve worked with over the years has been part of that journey.
Through it all, we’ve stayed committed to doing things the right way, with respect for the land, the local community, and the delicate balance that makes this place so special.
Why Nayarit?
The Riviera Nayarit is one of Mexico’s most stunning coastlines. Places like Sayulita, San Pancho, Punta de Mita, and Lo de Marcos each offer their own charm, from world-class surf to quiet coves perfect for families.
To be honest, our story didn’t start in Sayulita. We first began in Bucerías, a lovely town in its own right. However, there was something about Sayulita that drew us in. The energy, the waves, the sense of freedom in the air, it felt different, wilder, more alive. That’s when we knew this was where we were meant to be.
So we made the move. And it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
Whether you’re looking to build, invest, retire, or simply start fresh, Nayarit has something for everyone. After more than 30 years in the area, we’re here to help you do it in a way that feels real, grounded, and right for you.
Real Estate, the Sayulita Way
At Avalos Realty, we keep it personal. We listen. We guide. We care about where you end up and how you get there.
Because to us, it’s not just about closing deals. It’s about connecting people to places — and doing it with honesty, patience, and a real sense of responsibility.
Welcome to Sayulita. Welcome to Avalos.
